Peel and slice 4 med. or large apples,
3Tbsp corn starch
3/4 cup sugar
¾ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp. mace or nutmeg
¼ tsp. Salt
Sprinkle and mix spice mixture with the apples until coated well
Above is the filling ,
Now mix the pie dough recipe and place dough in 9" pan(the one most have)
Cover with a 1" hole in center to let gasses out.
Bake 425* for 40 to 50 minutes, when it comes pot of the over place a Tbsp. of butter in center (optional)
