In a 4 qt pot.
Fry 4 strips of bacon & cut up
Chop a small onion
& a med. Green pepper
fry up the onions and pepper with the bacon until onions soft.
Add 1 tsp. salt
Add a 16 oz can red beans W/ The water.
Add 2 cups water
Add 1 cup uncooked rice
Bring to boil. Cut back heat and simmer for about 18 minutes.
Do not let it scorch keep heat low and stir offen.
Season with salt and pepper or hot sauce
