Rugalach/ Ruggala Dough
 


1 stick of butter (softened)
tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp dry yeast
Mix together until crumbly
Add cup heavy cream
2 egg yolks make into dough / if to thin add a bit of flour.
Chill 3 hours to make it easier to work

Filling
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp chopped nuts (pecans best)
Stir together.

Roll dough into circles about 8"
Sprinkle on filling and dot with raisins OPT.
Cut into triangles and roll up wide end first making crescents Place point down and bake @ 375 aprox. 15-20 minutes.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar or drizzle with white frosting
