Cake Donuts

In your bowl place
1 3/4 cup al porpoise flour
1 tsp. Baking pwd.
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tbsp. shortening
1/2 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Allspice (or pumpkin spice)
1/2 tsp. Mace If you have it

mix a bit and add as you go cup milk or water slowly make into a dough, you may need to put it on the table and knead it . It should be pliable and easily rolled into donut shape, let it rest while you get the prying pan ready. 30 second on each side*

*test to make sure they are done inside, the do the rest. Yeald 9-10 med.
